This Privacy Statement/Consent Form covers any job application data you submit to BC, such as:

1. Name, address, email address, telephone number, or other contact information;
2. Information contained in your Curriculum Vitae or cover letter or other information you provide about your application, such as desired salary or other job preferences; and
3. Names and contact information for referrals.

You are responsible for obtaining consent from references before providing their personal data to us. Benguet Corporation does not wish to receive any confidential or proprietary information that you have received from your previous employers.

Your job application data will be used to evaluate your application for employment at Benguet Corporation, its subsidiaries, and affiliates, to verify your information, conduct reference checks, communicate with you, and inform you of further career opportunities and for any other legitimate purpose connected with your application. If your application is granted, the information collected will become part of your employment record and will be used for employment purposes; otherwise, your job application data will be stored in our applicant’s database for two (2) years from your most recent submission of said data.

If your application is not successful, the Company reserves the right to retain and use your information for one (1) year from our receipt of your resume for the following reasons: (1) to enable us to deal with any matter that may arise in connection with your application, (2) to contact you in connection with ongoing recruitment opportunities in the Company, and (3) to be used for data analysis and business purposes.

You may request a copy of your personal information in our possession or have it corrected if you believe it is inaccurate or incomplete.
